SENIORS: Your senior fees of $90.00 must be paid to Mrs. Goodson in the main office by April 16, 2010. These fees pay for cap & gown, diploma & cover, ceremony decorations, etc. You may pay before and after school, during lunch, between classes, or during Irish Time. Only cash or money orders will be accepted.
FBLA Meets Thursday, March 4th @ 3:35 in the cafeteria. All FBLA members should make plans to attend.
STUDENT DRIVERS: if you have received a parking violation ticket and have not contacted Officer Sanders, you cannot park on school property tomorrow. You must take care of this immediately. (2/24/10)
MISS IRISH PRIDE: The DHS Tip Off Club presents the 3rd Annual Miss Irish Pride Pageant March 7, 2010, in the Dublin High School gymnasium at 6:00 p.m. Registration fee is $30.00 with deadline for entry being February 26, 2010. Scholarship awards will be presented to the senior winners: Queen, $250.00; 1st runner-up, $150.00; and 2nd runner-up, $100.00. Please see Mrs. Newton for guidelines and registration information.
OCONEE HIGH SCHOOL National Alumni Scholarship applications are available in the guidance office. See Mrs. Newton. Deadline is April 15, 2010.
IRONMAN MEETING: There is an Ironman meeting each Wednesday morning at 7:45 in room D-19. All young men are invited to attend for a time of Christian fellowship and devotion. Refreshments will be served. See Coach Perry or Mr. Canady for more information.
STUDENTS: You are not allowed to wear warm-ups and sweat pants to school. Read and follow the dress code.
WASHINGTON YOUTH TOUR is an all-expense paid, fun-filled week of activities in our nation's capital. Delegates will expand their knowledge of history, government, and careers in public service. This is such an amazing experience; it's hard to believe it's an educational experience as well. To be eligible for the contest the students must be: --16 years of age by June 2010, --Current sophomore or junior in high school. See your guidance counselor for more information.
STUDENTS if you owe $7.00, you must pay on your account before you can eat. Concerns...call Ms. Ann Coogle at Central Office.
Dress Code: Students, you are reminded to remain in dress code from the time you arrive at school until you leave. Do not violate dress code while you are still on campus.
Electronic devices: Cell phones or other electronic devices may NOT be used during the school day. If your phone is taken, your parent must come to the school and conference with Mr. Cleveland, and a fine of $25.00 must be paid. Notes from parents will not be accepted in lieu of a conference. |
